Gone too soon.....
Don Henegar was a brilliant leader on and off the court. His love of basketball was only exceeded by the love of his family and friends. He was taken from us way too soon.
Don Henegar Memorial Scholarship
The family and friends of Don Henegar are establishing a scholarship in the memory of Don and that will focus on areas that Don believed were crucial to leading a life filled with purpose and truly using the gifts you were given. To be eligible, you are:
- Senior Female Basketball player in Rutherford or Coffee County, TN
- Be nominated by your Coach
- Provide 3 References from a school principal, a teacher and a community leader(defined as faith leader, political leader or a local non-profit executive)
- Have at least a 3.5 GPA (certified by official transcript)
Scholarship will be awarded at the Stewart's Creek Girls Basketball Tournament and participants of the tournament will be given first looks. If no one qualifies from tournament play then players that did not participate in the tournament will be considered.
SCHOLARSHIP: $1,000
